SIGNS OF TEENS USING DRUGS:
· They are neglecting their personal responsibilities at school, work and home. They do no longer want to do everyday chores or follow the rules at home; school is not a huge priority to them nor is work so the effort put forth isn’t the best.
· The drugs they are using are being used in dangerous conditions, where they find themself taking risks that are not safe. Such as driving under the influence and handling situations in a don’t care manor.
· Using drugs are getting you into legal trouble. The teen is getting constant warning by the police or getting arrested.
· The usages of drugs are bringing upon problems in your different relationships among friends and family. The people who care the most are the ones who are being pushed away. The close bond is being torn apart due to the behavior of the teen which isn’t controlled.
· You began to become physically and verbally abusive. They are talking back to their parents or other authority figures; they may also be beginning to harm younger siblings or people that care about what is going on with them.
· There are constant excuses for your behavior. They are not owing up to what they are doing wrong they have an excuse for every wrongdoing.
· They no longer feel the need to explain what they are doing or who they are with.
· In school the attendance rate of the student drops, and when they are there they are not putting forth the same effort as they were before. Drugs are taking over to the point that they do not want to go to school but rather be around people who are doing what they are doing all day.
